KILLEEN (February 8, 2013)--At least five bullet holes were visible in a fence Friday after residents called police to report gunfire in a Killeen neighborhood near apartment buildings and a hotel.
Officers were set to the neighborhood in the 1000 block of Root Avenue near the Modern Inn at around 4:30 Thursday after a woman who lives in the area called 911 after she heard as many as eight shots fired outside of her apartment complex.
She said when she went outside, she discovered bullet holes in the fence.
Other residents who live in the area said this isn't the first time they've heard gunshots.
No arrests have been made.
