KILLEEN (October 31, 2012)--CTC will host the 2nd annual Calaveritas Festival to celebrate the Day of the Dead Friday.
Also known as Dia de los Muertos, the festival is celebrated in many Latin and Hispanic cultures where friends and family gather together to pray for and remember those who have passed away.
The festival will include song and dance performances, music, a costume contest, vendors and an all souls’ procession beginning at 4:45 p.m.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the campus courtyard in front of the Anderson Campus Center.
The public is invited to attend.
