KILLEEN (January 29, 2013)--High school students in the Killeen, Copperas Cove and Temple school districts will learn about numerous career options at an event happening at CTC.

On Friday, more than 300 students will participate in the first-ever P-20 Career Exploration event which is funded by a grant from the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation.

Students will learn about the career fields of pharmacy, radio/television, engineering, homeland security, literature, theater arts, kinesiology, business, culinary arts and computer science.

Students will be treated to lunch and will also attend a workshop hosted by the Texas Workforce Commission.

The workshop will offer tips on resume writing and dressing for success.
