KILLEEN (October 24, 2012)--Killeen Volunteers Inc. is hopeful that the community will come out to Make a Difference Day Saturday to take part in community service projects.
More than 16,000 people have registered but volunteers are still needed to take part in the 74 projects slated for completion.
The day begins with a kickoff ceremony at 8 a.m. at the Killeen Community Center on E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.
