KILLEEN (July 3, 2012)-- Killeen Police have released a sketch of a man wanted for abducting a teenage girl.
Police say the victim was at the intersection of 10th street and Veteran's Memorial Boulevard at around 11 a.m. Monday when the man drove up and offered her a ride, which she declined.
Police say the man then grabbed her and pulled her into the car.
He assaulted her until she was unconscious.
Police say she was shoved out of the car onto FM 3219 when she regained consciousness.
She was taken to McLane Children’s Hospital Scott & White with injuries that police said were not life threatening.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a black, Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am two door.
The suspect is about 5'10'' tall with a large build and potbelly.
