KILLEEN (November 8, 2012)—Police Friday identified the man who was shot to death late Wednesday night in the parking lot of a local convenience store as Imran Amir Dhukka, 28, of Killeen.

Officers found Dhukka dead and a second man injured after responding to reports of gunfire just before midnight Wednesday at the Star Mart Convenience store in the 3600 block of Zephyr Road in Killeen.

The second man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and was later transferred to Scott & White Hospital in Temple in stable condition.

Dhukka had just arrived to pick up the other man, who worked as a clerk at the store, when three armed men dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered ran up to his Toyota Camry, robbed the two victims and then opened fire, shooting each man several times, police said.

The three robbers then took the Camry and sped off.

The car was later found abandoned in the area of Highland and Stetson, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the deadly shooting to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
