KEMPNER (October 12, 2012)--A boil water noticed issued Thursday afternoon was still in effect Friday.
Due to low chlorine residuals, Kempner Water Supply Corporation was advised to notify customers to boil their water.
Water should be boiled for at least two minutes prior to consumption.
Water system officials will notify residents when the water is safe to drink without boiling.
