LAMPASAS (November 16, 2012)--The Camp Hood exhibit at the Keystone Square Museum will be open through Saturday.
The exhibit uses photographs and descriptions to show the various stages when the government acquired land for Camp Hood in the 1940s.
Many residents in Lampasas County had to give up their lands for that purpose.
The camp became a permanent post in 1950.
The museum is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
It is located at 313 South Western Avenue.
Donations are accepted.
