BRUCEVILLE-EDDY (October 30, 2012)- An 18-wheeler started spilling diesel on a stretch of Central Texas Interstate Tuesday night near Bruceville-Eddy.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday the driver of the big rig ran over some debris in the road which caused the fuel lines on the trucks tanks to disconnect.
Diesel then started to spill on the road as the driver pulled over.
Lorena Police and Lorena Firefighters arrived on scene and were able to plug the leaks until a repairman could get to the truck and fix the problem.
Traffic slowed down in the area, but never came to a stop.
