LORENA (March 19, 2013)—A water main break left some residents of Lorena without water Tuesday evening.
The break affected customers who live on the east side of Interstate 35.
The water was off just before 6 p.m. Tuesday and utility crews were working to restore service.
Because of the break, a boil order was issued for affected customers until routine tests confirm the water is free of contaminants once service is restored.
Water intended for cooking, ice-making or consumption should be boiled vigorously before use.
