MARLIN (March 21, 2013)--The Beatles, Elvis, and Johnny Cash are just some artists musical comedian TJ Smith may impersonate at the Palace Theatre Saturday.
Smith will perform at the theatre on Heritage Row from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door for $15.
"He does over 100 impersonations and his wife Maria also performs as artists like Barbara Streisand," Palace Theatre Board Member Patricia Smith said.
Other impersonations include Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, The Eagles, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and George W. Bush.
"He also encourages audiences to dress up as their favorite performer for the show," Smith said.
Smith was the lead performer for Rock Box Theater in Fredericksburg for five years and has done more than 5,000 shows throughout the state.
He has been a musical comedian for more than 20 years.
"Many members of the Palace Theatre have seen him perform and wanted to bring him here," Smith said. "We thought if we got him, it would be dynamite, and we need dynamite around here."
Tickets may also be purchased before Saturday at Lauren's at 239 Live Oak Street.
