MARLIN (November 2, 2012)—Daymond Lamont Stewart of Mexia has been arrested on warrants stemming from home invasions on July 26 and Oct. 12 in Marlin, police said Friday.
Officers arrested Stewart Thursday without incident at his home in Mexia, police said.
He was booked into the Falls County Jail, charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation, one count of aggravated sexual assault and one count of burglary of a habitation intending other felony.
His bonds total $700,000.
A fingerprint located at the scene of the second home invasion and DNA recovered from the scene led to the arrest, police said.
