BELL COUNTY (February 7, 2013)--Aware Central Texas, an organization that works to prevent child abuse, offers ongoing classes for parents and teens in the areas of anger management, mood and stress management, juvenile anger management, domestic abuse and more.
The organization offers support from certified volunteers to anyone struggling with these issues.
Volunteers are always being accepted and will undergo training sessions prior to working with the organization.
Aware Central Texas has become a nationally recognized Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Center through the National Exchange Foundation and serves as a research model for other organizations.
Classes are offered in different cities across Bell County with a variety of sessions to fit each person’s schedule.
Classes are $10 each, cash or check, and walk-ins are welcome.
Each session is two hours long.
