BELTON (December 17, 2012)--Papa John’s locations in Temple and Belton will help the Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas put an end to child abuse and its long-term affects.

On Friday, in support of the Blue Envelope Campaign, 30 percent of pizza sales will go to the center.

Blue became the honorary color representing child abuse because it is the color of bruises, a spokesperson said.

According to the organization, the campaign is necessary because 45 percent of the agency’s operating budget comes from the community.

The campaign will run through the end of the year.
