Juvenile Arrested In Shooting That Left Local Man Dead

TEMPLE (November 12, 2012)—A juvenile male was in custody Monday evening in connection with a shooting Friday that left a Temple man dead.

The juvenile, whose name and age were not released, was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Killeen after his arrest, police said.

Officers were dispatched at around 9:20 p.m. Friday to a home in the 400 block of South 32nd Street where they found Temple Fire and Rescue paramedics performing CPR on the victim in the front room of the house.

Friends of the victim returned to the house to find the man with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

An autopsy was ordered.

Police later identified the dead man as Michael Lamar Green, 34.
