Police Locate Video Of Car Possibly Linked To Local Bank Robbery

Police have located surveillance video that may show a car linked to the armed robbery of a local bank.

TEMPLE (May 5, 2013)—Police have located surveillance video that may show a vehicle linked to the armed holdup of a Temple bank.

The Compass Bank at 1315 S 31st Street was robbed at around 11:50 a.m. April 27 by a man who produced a gun and demanded money.

No one was injured

He drove off in what was described at the time as a white, newer model four-door car.

Investigators have since located surveillance video that indicates the car may have been a white Chrysler 300.

The robber was black, between the ages of 25 and 35, 6-feet to 6-feet-5-inches in height and weighed between 170 and 190 pounds.

He was wearing gloves, sunglasses, dark pants, and a light-colored pullover-style hooded sweatshirt with the word “SOUTHPOLE” and a number beginning with “2” on the front.

He remains at large.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Temple Police Department at (254) 298-5500.
