TEMPLE (November 27, 2012)—A two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Temple sent five people including two children younger than 6 to Scott & White Hospital.
The accident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of Charter Oak Drive.
Police say a 24-year-old Temple woman driving a Ford station wagon pulled out of a driveway and directly into the path of a southbound Chrysler station wagon driven by a 32-year-old Belton woman.
The woman driving the Ford was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by Temple firefighters.
None of the five victims suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
