TEMPLE (February 14, 2013) --- Development concerns topped the agenda Thursday for some Temple residents during a City Council planning retreat.
Since July last year East Temple stakeholders have been working to figure ways to build up that part of town.
Some of the issues they want to tackle include code enforcement, housing, workforce, education and commercial development.
The city is hoping to work with the group of stakeholders and multiple churches in East Temple to get a development plan set in stone.
"The solutions and the challenges that we face with East Temple didn't occur or weren't created overnight so it's going to take some time for us to really address those," Temple City Manager David Blackburn said.
