TEMPLE (January 24, 2013)—The Temple police department’s SWAT team was dispatched to a home late Thursday afternoon in the 4000 block of Wagon Trail after the resident arrived home and heard noises in the attic.
The SWAT team was requested after the man told officers he had at least one firearm in the house.
Team members searched the house and found no evidence of a break-in.
“Fortunately, nothing was disturbed, no sign of forced entry, and no one was in the house,” Temple police spokesman Christopher Wilcox said.
