TEMPLE (October 26, 2012)—A sculpture named “The Baseball Pitcher” is the newest addition to Art in the Park.
The sculpture will be placed at A.J. Mercer Fields in Lions Park, located at 4320 Lions Park Road.
The dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The sculpture is being donated by Mary Ann Pechal in recognition of her late husband Bobby Pechal.
Bobby Pechal played baseball and softball for many years, even competing at the state level will the Wildcats in 1953.
