TEMPLE (March 5, 2013)--Residents may now sign up for Temple Parks and Leisure Services’ new Sunrise Strollers program.

Beginning in April, moms will be invited to bring their children in strollers and walk with other area moms at Pepper Creek Trail.

The program, led by an instructor, costs $5 a month and will take place every Monday from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.

"The goal is just to get area moms together and promote exercise," Program Director Belinda Garcia said.

The program will meet in the Pepper Creek parking lot off of Kegley Road.

"Sometimes it's hard for moms to exercise, but if you can bring your child with you, it makes it a lot easier," Garcia said.
