TEMPLE (January 1, 2013)--Three STAAR parent meetings have been scheduled, one each for elementary, middle and high school parents.

On Thursday, parents of elementary school students are invited out to the Temple High School cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. to get questions answered regarding the new STAAR and End of Course Exams.

Parents will learn how they are different from TAKS and how students will be affected by the new form of testing.

Parents of middle school students are encouraged to attend the January 17 meeting, and the meeting for high school students is January 29.

All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Temple High School cafeteria.
