TEMPLE (October 2, 2012)—A new book is out, written by a Temple native.
Author James Van Ness, PhD, has written a book entitled “In Defense of Liberty” in which he attempts to provide a thorough understanding of the origins, nature and legacy of the first Tea Party.
That information, he believes, provides valuable insight into understanding the modern Tea Party movement.
Van Ness has served on the faculty of the history departments at the University of Maryland in College Park and Tarleton State University in Fort Hood.
The book is published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises and is available at book stores nationwide.
