TEMPLE (February 14, 2013)--The deadline for Temple residents to sign up for the spring sports leagues is approaching.

Co-ed volleyball and softball are being offered for those ages 16 and older.

The leagues are designed to keep residents fit and accommodate seasoned athletes.

The early deadline for men’s and co-ed softball is Saturday and the deadline for co-ed volleyball is not until March 23rd.

“Leagues are a great way to have fun, exercise, and meet new people while enjoying friendly competition,” Temple Parks and Leisure Services Athletic Coordinator Tracy Klusacek said.
