TEMPLE (October 10, 2012)-The Walk to Stop Child Abuse in Central Texas is scheduled for Saturday.
The walk will benefit McLane Children's Hospital and Prevent Child Abuse Texas.
Walkers will lace up their shoes at 9 a.m.
The 5K route at Pepper Creek Trail on West Hwy 2305 will be clearly marked, event organizers said.
Registration costs $25 per participant and can be completed online.
The walk is a family event to assist with the expansion and maintenance of child abuse prevention programs.
