BELLMEAD (December 12, 2012)--The Bellmead Police Department is asking the public to help them adopt a child by purchasing a toy.
The Adopt a Child Toy Drive began last week and runs through Monday.
Interested residents will need to go to the police department on Maxfield Drive, select an ornament from the tree and return the unwrapped gift(s) to the department.
An officer will collect the items and distribute them to the child.
