HEWITT (December 3, 2012)--The Hewitt Christmas parade and tree lighting will be held Saturday.
Hewitt police and fire departments are collecting new, unwrapped toys as part of the Toys for Tots program.
Toys can also be brought to Hewitt Park Saturday during the annual Christmas tree lighting which begins at 5:30 p.m. at 801 S. Hewitt Drive.
Free pictures with Santa will be available and members of the U.S. Marine Corps will also be on hand with information about the Toys for Tots drive.
The parade will begin at 4 p.m. on N. Hewitt Drive.
The parade route will begin at Midway Middle School and end at Chama Drive.
