ROBINSON (October 10, 2012)--The Robinson City Council approved a resolution Tuesday authorizing the city manager to approve an agreement for the reservation of raw water and sale and delivery of treated water from Waco.
The city hopes the move will better accommodate city growth.
"Development will begin immediately on the interstate once the water line is put in place. The water line construction is expected to be completed by May of 2013,” spokesperson Kaci Allen said.
“This will give Robinson a lifeline for a guaranteed water source from the City of Waco for our future,” City Manager Bob Cervenka said.
The contract will be heard at the Waco City Council meeting slated for Tuesday.
