WACO (December 5, 2012)--An administrator doused a burning roll of toilet paper in a restroom at Waco High School Wednesday morning, but not before smoke filled the adjacent cafeteria and forced a limited evacuation.

Waco Independent School District spokesman Dale Caffey said firefighters were sent to the school at 2020 North 42nd at around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday to clear smoke from the building.

Students who were in the cafeteria were evacuated, but those still in classrooms were not.

A News 10 reporter at the scene said firefighters carried large fans inside the building to clear out the smoke.

No one was injured, Caffey said.

Students were allowed back into the building just after noon.
