WACO (August 8, 2014) A Waco-area man pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court in Waco to conspiring with others to possess more than 50 kilograms of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Federal District Judge Walter S. Smith, Jr., set sentencing for Bobby Nelson for Oct. 10.

Smith also referred Selson's case to the federal probation office for a persistence report before sentencing.

A federal indictment says Snelson participated in a scheme to traffic large amounts of marijuana into Central Texas for distribution to a network of others who would sell the drugs in several cities.
