WACO (February 6, 2013)—Waco police and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force made an arrest Wednesday in a robbery that left a convenience store clerk injured.
Authorities arrested Marvin Jerome Parr, 30, Wednesday morning at his home in Bellmead on a warrant charging aggravated robbery that stems from a holdup on Dec. 12, 2012 at the Cefco store at 2000 North Valley Mills Dr. in Waco.
Parr was taken to the McLennan County Jail.
A female clerk at the store told officers she was struck in the face and that the store's bank bag was stolen as she walked her car in the parking lot to make a trip to the bank.
Police were looking for two men who were thought to be involved in the robbery, both of whom left the store on foot.
The clerk was not seriously injured.
