WACO (October 30, 2012)--Waco police were searching Tuesday for a suspect after a man reported that he was robbed outside of a South Waco motel.
The victim said another man robbed him just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday behind the Motel 6 on Interstate 35.
The robber didn’t show a weapon and no one was injured.
Officers said the victim handed over about $200 in cash and as the robber began to leave, the victim chased him around the motel and toward LaSalle Avenue, but never caught him.
A housekeeper at the motel witnessed the confrontation between the two men and called police, but by the time officers arrived the robber was gone.
