WACO (August 6, 2014) McLennan County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Waco man they'd been looking for in connection with possession and sale of narcotics while the man was watching a neighborhood fire Monday night.

Kentre Jermaine Trotter, was ordered held in the McLennan County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $103,600, charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

He was also wanted on unrelated charges out of Falls County including assault with bodily injury and non-payment of child support.

Trotter was arrested early Tuesday morning after sheriff's deputies noticed he was standing outside a house in the 5500 block of Tennyson Drive, watching as firefighters fought a fire in a duplex a couple doors down from his residence, sheriff's Capt. Sean Lippe said.

Deputies had been looking for Trotter since they served a narcotics search warrant at his sister's house, but failed to find him there, Lippe said.

Waco police officers assisted in the arrest, Lippe said.
