WACO (December 18, 2012)--A man wearing a Halloween mask and carrying a gun robbed a woman early Tuesday morning in East Waco and made away with her purse.
The robbery happened just before 7 a.m. in the 1100 block of Taylor Street, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
When the first officers arrived at the scene the victim told them a man approached her wearing a Halloween-style white mask, a beanie cap and a black jacket, pointed a gun at her and stole her purse.
Waco police Victim's Services Unit also responded to the scene.
The man escaped on foot, officers said.
