Waco: New MCC Vice President Named

WACO (April 4, 2014) The McLennan Community College Board of Trustees has named a new vice president of research, effectiveness and information technology to succeed Paul Illich, who has accepted the president’s position at Southeast Community College in Nebraska.

Phil Rhodes will assume the post on May 6.

He has served since 2007 as director/senior director of institutional research and effectiveness at Houston Baptist University.

From 1998 to 2006 he was a senior research analyst at Baylor University.

He has also worked in Waco as an independent consultant, Baylor lecturer and statistical consultant.

Rhodes has a Ph.D. in statistics, M.S. in mathematics and B.S. in mathematical science, all from Baylor University.
