Waco: Salvation Army Food Pantry Shelves Empty

The Waco Salvation Army is appealing for donations to fill the empty shelves at its food pantry.

WACO (March 11, 2014) The Waco Salvation Army is appealing for donations to fill the empty shelves at its food pantry.

“The shelves are bare and there are people who are in desperate need of food,” the organization said in a press release Tuesday.

The Salvation Army’s Social Services offices are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday through Friday.

Food Items Needed

Cereal
Oatmeal
Boxed Dinners (i.e. Mac & Cheese)
Ramen Noodles
Bagged Rice
Dry Pasta
Peanut Butter
Baking Mixes (cake, cornbread, etc.)
Meat (tuna, chicken, sausages)
Chili
Spaghetti
Soup
Beans
Spaghetti Sauce
Fruit
Dry Milk
