WACO (February 21, 2014) A Waco woman was held Friday in the McLennan County Jail after she was arrested in connection with a threat to stab her boyfriend with a screwdriver.

Lashonda Michelle Rhodes, 41, was ordered held in lieu of a $20,000 bond, charged with aggravated assault, online jail records showed.

She was arrested after officers responded to a report of a disturbance just after midnight Thursday morning at the C&E Motel at 1009 North Loop Drive, Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said.

When officers arrived they found a man who said he and his girlfriend had argued and that during the dispute she grabbed a screwdriver and threatened to stab him with it.

Anderson said no one was injured.
