WACO (October 11, 2012)--Baylor University has received an “A” in curriculum according to a new report by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni.

Baylor is one of 21 institutions nationwide to earn the grade.

The study looked at curriculum offerings at major public and private colleges and universities in all 50 states, more than 1,000 schools, and graded based on how many of seven required core subjects were in place.

Composition, literature, foreign language at an intermediate level, U.S. government or history, economics, mathematics and natural or physical science are considered core subjects.

Baylor has been on the “A” list for three consecutive years and is one of less than two percent of all institutions to receive the high grade.
