WACO (January 30, 2013)--Wednesday is the first day to file for a position on the elections ballot.
Open positions for the City of Waco include council district II, council district IV and council district V.
Waco ISD positions include trustee position 4 in district 4 and trustee position 5 in district 5.
Trustee district 5 and trustee district 7 positions are also available for the McLennan Community College Board of Trustees.
The last day to file for a place on the ballot is March 1.
Elections will be held May 11.
