WACO (October 5, 2012)--Two crime scene technicians from the police department’s crime scene unit received F.B.I. recognition for their part in catching a serial bank robber.

Joyce Marek and Laura Teamer were awarded certificates of recognition this week for their help in catching serial bank robber Bradley Craig Kilmer.

The technicians were able to lift a partial hand print and link it to Kilmer through a database, leading to his arrest.

The evidence implicated Kilmer in a bank robbery that occurred in Lacy Lakeview August 8.

Kilmer has subsequently been charged with numerous bank robberies in Texas, Georgia and South Carolina, police said.
