WACO (February 19, 2014) Veterans and their spouses will be able to get free legal advice from the Baylor Law School from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Veteran's One Stop at 2220 Austin Ave.
Volunteer attorneys can provide advice on such things as divorce, child custody, child support, bankruptcy, consumer issues, wills and estate planning and foreclosures.
The volunteers will meet with the veterans for 10 to 20 minutes during each appointment.

Those who take advantage of the service should bring any paperwork related to their cases including copies of all pertinent claims, correspondence and rulings from the court, agency or Veteran's Administration.
Copies of a person's DD214 will be needed for those wanting veteran's benefits or a discharge upgrades.
