WACO (March 15, 2013)--A series of public meetings will be held to update the public on upcoming transportation projects and to receive feedback.
The Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization will present a list of projects under the 2013-2016 Transportation Improvement Program.
Construction on all projects is expected to begin within the next four years with some of the projects to undergo several phases.
Projects range from landscape development to reconstruction and I-35 lane widening.
A meeting slated for Monday will begin at 6 p.m. at the City of Robinson council chambers on West Lyndale Street.
Two additional meetings will be held Tuesday.
A meeting will begin at noon at the Dr. Mae Jackson Development Center on Franklin Avenue and a meeting at 6 p.m. will be held at the Waco Transit Administration Center on S. 8th Street.
Comments and suggestions are welcome at the meetings.
