WACO (October 15, 2012)--The American Red Cross will introduce the new Heart of Texas Chapter Executive Director Mark P. Felton II at a community reception Wednesday.

The Heart of Texas Chapter serves Temple, Killeen, Bryan, College Station and Waco.

At 5 p.m. light refreshments will be served and community members will get to shake hands with Felton at the Insurors of Texas Southwestern Building at 225 South Fifth Street.

Insurors of Texas will host the event.

The American Red Cross supplies more than 40 percent of the nation’s blood and also shelters, feeds and provides support to those in need, Regional Director of Communications Sara Kennedy said.
