WACO (February 27, 2013)--A come and go event Thursday will mark the launch of the Heart of Texas Breastfeeding Coalition, a group of mothers and local physicians who promote and educate women about breastfeeding.
The group is made up of doctors, nurses, mothers, midwives, pregnancy counselors and others.
A networking event will be held Thursday at Lula Jane’s at 406 Elm Street which will feature food, beverages and a list of breastfeeding resources in the area.
Mothers and community members can come and go from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
