WACO (November 29, 2012)--Rapoport Academy’s pre-kindergarten program has been named a “Pre-K Center of Excellence” by the Texas Education Agency in partnership with the Regional education Service Center.

The achievement is for schools that are deemed effective and successful in preparing children for kindergarten.

The school has also been acknowledged for achieving a rating of 100 percent for highly-qualified teachers in the classrooms.

To receive the ranking teachers must complete at least two years of study at a higher learning institution, have obtained an associate’s degree or higher, or meet standards for quality through a formal state or local academic assessment.
