WACO (July 4, 2012)--The Waco Children's Theatre, a nonprofit organization, will present its rendition of “Bye-Bye Birdie” starting on Thursday.
The performance will run until Sunday, held at the Waco Civic Theatre on Lake Air Drive.
“Bye-Bye Birdie” centers on an Elvis Presley-type rock and roll superstar, Conrad Birdie, who is drafted into the Army.
The play encompasses romance and suspense.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee offered on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
There will only be one Sunday performance.
