Woman Freed From SUV After 2-Vehicle Crash Taken To Local Hospital

A woman who was freed from an SUV that ended up in a roadside ravine after a two-vehicle crash was taken to a local hospital early Friday afternoon.

WACO (August 1, 2014) A woman whom firefighters freed after her SUV ended up in a roadside ravine after a two-vehicle crash was taken to a Waco hospital early Friday afternoon.

The accident happened at around noon Friday in the area of Lake Shore Drive and North 31st Street.

The driver’s side of the SUV ended up wedged against a tree, trapping the woman who was driving inside.

Waco firefighters were able to free her.

No other injuries were reported.
