WEST (September 18, 2012)--In partnership with MCC, West ISD offers free GED and English as a Second Language classes, the school district said.
Classes meet in the West Middle School cafeteria on West Shook Street every Tuesday night.
The classes last from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and are free to adults who are at least 17-years-old.
Students must be officially withdrawn from public school.
“A student may attend as much or as little as he desires. The more often a student attends, the faster they will be able to obtain their goals. Classes are self-paced,” a spokesperson said.
