MEXIA (January 27, 2012)- The 21st annual Trout Fishing Clinic will be held this weekend at Fort Parker State Park's Lake Springfield.

The clinic is open for young anglers between the ages of 5 and 17.

Those attending do not need any equipment, experience or a fishing license to participate.

The park does have an entry fee of $2 for anybody 13 and older.

There are four different two-hour clinics throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, the clinics will take place at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.

On Sunday, there will be a clinic starting at 1 p.m.

Mexia Bass Club members will be on site to help those attending bait their hooks, cast their lines, and get catches off the hooks.
