GATESVILLE (January 8, 2013)—A Gatesville man remained Tuesday in the Coryell County Jail after his arrest on a possession of child pornography charge.

Timothy Dale Meske, 42, was ordered held on a $50,000 bond, charged with possession of child pornography.

Gatesville police arrested Meske after his wife reported she found several inappropriate pictures of children stored on his cellular telephone.

Police obtained a search warrant and when they arrived at his residence, they seized the phone and arrested Meske.

The Coryell County Jail log shows Meske being held on the possession of child pornography charge and an additional charge of improper photography or video recording.

Jail records do not show whether Meske has an attorney.

Gatesville police say it appears the photographs were downloaded from another source and that Meske did not take the pictures with the cell phone.
